CHEAP ABS Module Repair for Audi

BOSCH ABS Control Module Applications in Audi Vehicles:

Bosch ABS modules are commonly found in 2000-era Audi vehicles. Audis use Bosch 5.0, 5.3, 5.4, 5.7, and 8.0 control modules. A failed module will produce ABS and brake warning lights along with 3 beeps when starting the car. Failed Bosch 5.3 control modules are extremely common in 2000-era Audis. To confirm that the module is the problem, you can try scanning the ABS system with a VAG scan tool (such as a factory scanner or VAG-COM). (OBD-II scanners will not read ABS codes). If you get a communication or link error (may be intermittent), you can be assured the module has failed and is rebuildable. We can repair any Audi ABS module and restore full functionality (with the exception of the 5.0 units mentioned at the bottom of this page).

Repairable faults include communication faults, wheel speed sensor errors, and brake pressure sensor faults. If you have a code for a return flow pump code, please let us know at the time of your order.

The part number of all Bosch 5.3 modules will start with 0 273 004.
The part number of the Bosch pump starts with 0 265.
The official Audi/VW repair kit part number is: 8E0-998-375 / 8E0998375.

BOSCH 5.4 Applications:

The smaller Bosch 5.4 modules are found on many Audi cars outside of North America. Common part numbers include 0273004281 (8E0614111AH), 0273004132 (8E0614111AM), 0273004132 (8E0614111), and others. We can repair all Bosch 5.4 modules with communication problems. If your 5.4 module throws a wheel speed sensor code, please check and make sure the wheel speed sensor is not faulty before sending your module in. Bosch 5.4 modules look like the one in the picture below. If yours appears similar to this one, it can be repaired.

Bosch 5.0 Module

We repair all Bosch modules except the 5.0/5.2 units (which use 5.3 coding with ESP). 5.0 modules are found in some 2001-2002 Audi S4s are and are located under the rear seat (Part Number 8E0614111T, 0265202401). The part under the hood is shown in the picture above, but it is actually not the ABS control module. The control module is under the rear seat (separate from the ABS pump). Because of the remote location of the computer control circuitry in the 5.0 applications, these modules fail far less often. If your Audi has ESP and does not have a 5.7 module, it cannot be repaired. We currently only repair integrated units (where the control module and pump are located together).
